Captain Vanhal's Log: <stardate 120520021884> We left the safety and comfort of StarBase 8 1 hour ago and have been traveling on impluse out of the solar system (warp laws forbid us doing more then warp 0.9 inside a solar sytem). The U.S.S 10to5 is a brand new exploration class ship, ment for a crew of 4 with space for 2 other people, on this trip its for 2 cadets who we are training. The ship is made up off 2 main areas, the bridge and engeenering, also 6 rooms and a teleporter (which is in engneering). The ships weapon system consistets of 2 phasers (1 fore, one alf) and a single proton tropedo to the fore (the ship can carry 12 protons).

The crew sat in anticipation on the bridge, waiting to get underway. I knew it was my job to take us to warp, and I felt that I had better hurry up. Aye sir. Course laid in.
"Mr simmo666 set a corse for Uarus 4. warp factor 6." Captain Vanhal said.
That was my cue. I tapped the panel and laid in the course. "Course laid in sir. Ready to engage on your orders."
It was almost here. Just a few more seconds, and the order would be given. We'd be on our way.

As the Navigator did his work, I could only sit in awe as this was teh first time I was going to leave the solar system. I could feel that this was going to be quite a trip.

Well, we had gone to warp. I was so relieved we hadn't torn ourselves to shreads. I turned around to look at the rest of the bridge crew to see the looks on their faces, when I saw Dobberman peering through the doors at the back of the bridge. "Sir?" I said, looking at him as he seemed to be in extreme pain. I reached for my hypospray and ran quickly to him. The rest of the personnel looked shocked and none of them moved to help. I looked at his arm, and having no basic medical training, I decided that I should simply put the hypospray on him arm and push the little button on it. There was a slight hiss, and then I looked at what was in the hypospray, standard issue Federation sedative. "Oops" I said as Dobberman started to look drowzy, and suddenly fell to the floor.
"Erm, Captain! What should I do now?"

oh and i see we have arrived at our desteination, bring us out of warp.

"Ok", I said as I loaded the wake-up hypospray. Taking care to use the hypospray properly, I placed the hypo on Dobberman's neck and pressed the button. Leaving the Admiral to wake up, get his surroundings and return to his post, I moved back to my station.
"Whooooooooooooooooooossssssssssshhhhhhhhhhhh", went the engines as the ship came to a stop. I put us into the orbit of the planet, and looked behind me, lucky to see that the Admiral had returned to his post. Phew.

Now that we are out of warp I'd better disengage the power relays and realign the dilitium matrix so I can get it ready for the journey home, leaving the core offline and us vulnerable to any attack with no means of escape except impulse.

On first inspection the planet seems to have no living lifeforms put my atmosphere readings sugest this planet can support life.

OK, then I suggest that we convert someone's quarters into a special science lab. We should then take the artefact back to starbase 8 and use the science facilities and personnel there. In the meantime, before we leave, I suggest that we explore this site for more details of this civilisation.

What the navigator forgots was that the transporter is in engineering and was already locked down by us. Hmmm, maybe we should get a bigger, more equipped ship.

Materialising in the Engineering transporter, I saw the shocked look on cadet sporto78's face.

"You forget, I used my security override." Now as my self and cadet macgrathzie held our phaser rifles, I said, "Stand down, let the captain in, or I might have to figure out how to fire this thing."

Also, while I was stood waiting for the engineering personnel to stand down, I head a noise coming from one of the crew quarters, and out came cadet carlos_technology, saying, "Do I have any orders", and we all wondered why noone had included him in this.

Sporto, you go out and check on Carlos, keep your weapon on Maximum stun, Vanhal maybe armed(somehow) and dangerous. If he's injured, bring him back so Simmo can treat him

HA ha ha Vanhal first over-rode the program Dobber1 to put down the forcefield  and now he has taken full control of of the ship.

What the... I'm on the floor. Luckily, I was pushed down right next to Dobberman. I looked up at him. He was laughing evily. He looked at sporto and vanhal for a second, then I saw my chance. Getting out my hypospray, loaded with sleep stuff, I used the hypospray on Dobberman's leg, and he fall asleep (AGAIN).
