The new split forum means that all that there should be in this topic is the mission. No complete OFF discussions. That will be in the Comments forum. To make you all happy, there will be tasks that will involve everyone (including Security). And just to make it more clear, yes, we will encounter the "Flood". Mission will begin Monday/Tuesday. So keep checking back. It wont start today since I dont have time tonight. Fresh from my promotion to Commodore, and Carlos's promotion to captain, I have been placed in charge of the 8th Fleet. As for our mission, the Columbia has been ordered to investigate a strange anomoly in the Celabrai system. Strange signals have been detected coming out of the anomoly that could resemble subspace communication, but could be coming from one of many different sources in that system including the nearby nebula. End Log <Bridge, 1630 hours> Simmo: "All crew, report to duty stations." <Carlos, Kim, Daniels and Kamakazie walk onto the bridge along with 2 other crewmembers> Simmo: "Lieutenant Daniels, take us out." <Waits for Daniels to reply> <Meanwhile, in the science lab> Skywalker: I wish I was on the bridge, but I dont think the captain will let me. I would think that we'd want to transition it a little so it makes sense, rather than suddenly boom, we're being attacked, ship heavily damaged. ON: +I managed to boost power output from the core and sent the extra to sensors and communications. It wasn't really hard, just had to widen the saftey margins on the core. As for the damage to the ship, we seem to be alright. Though message logs are sketchy at best and full of conflictions, it appears that most of the damage that the flood dealt us was mostly cosmetic, no vital systems were affected. Luke entered his new quarters on deck 3. It was pretty roomy compared to the other ones he had had. It was obviously made for long trips. Luke unloaded all his stuff and made his way to the new messhall where he saw most of the senior staff and some crewmen he had never met before. He introduced himself to most of the ones he didn't know and took a seat next to manhunter at the large table in the room.
